Charles Wallace India Trust (CWIT) awards scholarships to Indian students in humanities, arts, or heritage conservation. The Canadian and US grading systems share similarities, with each semester having credit hours associated. Students who complete courses successfully earn credits.

British Council and CWIT jointly administer India’s 40-year scholarship, offering grants and scholarships.

Eligibility, duration, and application deadlines
1. CWIT long-term grants (duration: 1 year)
The candidate should:

age range of 28 to 38
possess a first-class degree, diploma, or professional certification in their field of expertise. CWIT favors candidates with a lot of professional experience

2. CWIT Short Research Grants
Candidates ought to:
being nationals of India and residing there
age range of 25 to 45
possess good linguistic skills in English
possess a degree, be in the final stages of a doctoral program, or have finished their coursework and four or more years of study or experience in their field.

3. Grants: Final year of Doctoral study in the UK (duration: Final stages)
Applicants should be:
- Studying in fields covered by CWIT
- An Indian citizens and who are returning to India of their studies
- Between 25-38 years of age
- Not in receipt of a CWIT grant in the previous 5 years
