Discover Bocas Town

Bocas Town is the vibrant heart of Isla Colón’s south end. For artisan work, visit the Bri-Bri gift store or the Guna shops for handicrafts and jewelry. At night, the center comes alive with reggae bars booming with sound and people gearing up for the Full Moon festival. Plan a drink by the water at Barco Hundido, an open-air pub.

Get a smoothie from Bocas Blended.

Red Frog Beach is located on the island of Bastimentos, which is famed for its pristine, blue seas. You may take a boat from Isla Colon’s main island to the Red Frog pier ($3.50-$5.00). Sloth Island, located just off the coast of Isla Colon, is home to the world’s entire population of critically endangered pygmy three-toed sloths. While you can only see them from the sea, it’s a fast and enjoyable voyage, with excursions running everyday.
