    Forming the Simple Future Tense

    To form the simple future tense, take the infinitive form of regular verbs and add the following endings:

    • Je (I): -ai
    • Tu (You): -as
    • Il/Elle/On (He/She/One): -a
    • Nous (We): -ons
    • Vous (You – formal/plural): -ez
    • Ils/Elles (They): -ont

     

    Regular Verb Examples

     

    Parler (to speak)

    • Je parlerai (I will speak) – Pronunciation: “Zhu par-luh-ray” (ज़्यू पार-लु-रे)
    • Tu parleras (You will speak) – Pronunciation: “Too par-luh-rah” (टू पार-लु-राह)

    • Nous parlerons (We will speak) – Pronunciation: “Noo par-luh-ron” (नू पार-लु-रों)
